Happy 19 years Alexis Davis AKA Natasha!!!

Stefan Cassadine brought Alexis Davis to Port Charles for legal needs. Alexis is very protective of Stefan, and has a plan to make him believe his girlfriend Katherine Bell is really his half-sister Natasha.  Luke investigates for Alexis & he discovers that she is actually the real Natasha. Helena uses this to force Alexis to help her gain control of the Cassadine empire.  In an attempt to avenge her mother’s death, she teams up with Luke to kill Helena, and mistakenly pushes Katherine off a parapet instead. Katherine is presumed dead and Stefan is put on trial; Alexis defends him and gets the charges dropped. Alexis starts dating Ned and in a scheme to help her friend Chloe and Jax she agrees to marry Jax. That marriage gets dissolved after Chloe loses her company ( part of the plan), and she gets engaged to Ned.

She ends up having a panic attack and can not marry him right before the wedding.

Do you remember Katherine? She was a famous pianist who at first argued and fought with Robert. They soon fell in love. They were engaged to be married, in fact their wedding was interrupted by Duke's "death" back in the late 80's early 90's. Although he played Bennet Devlin on Port Charles - he's a well known actor for other roles, such as in these:

 Sadly, he passed away at the young age of 55 from lung cancer. Prior to his death he cared for his father who suffered from Alzheimer's disease, (he died at the age of 99 in May 2005).  Albert was diagnosed with lung cancer in early 2005 and passed the following year.

John Ingle ~ May 7,1928 ~ September 16, 2012

Today marks 3 years our beloved John Ingle passed away.
When he first appeared in Port Charles back in 1993 as Edward Quartermaine I was not sure he had what it took to fill David Lewis's big shoes.

Over time with good writing this incredible actor made the role his own. Here is a clip from his last scenes on GH, which were aired on September 11, 2012, just a few days before he passed away.

When Chad took over after Drew Garrett left, we were apprehensive. Now, we adore Chad and the way he portrays "Michael Quartermaine" aka "Michael Cortinthos".

    Did you  know  2001: Nearly 3,000 people were killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 at the World Trade Center site, near Shanksville, Pa., and at the Pentagon. Former Guiding Light child actor T.J. Hargrave, who played Tim (T.J.) Werner, was working as a vice president of Cantor Fitzgerald at the time of the attacks on the World Trade Center, and lost his life that day. He was only 38.

Since 2005 Laura Wright came to Port Charles and although she had some big shoes to fill she made the role of Carly Benson her own. She has chemistry with all the leading men.
She can cry like not other actress I know, she has a fire in her eyes that I have not seen before.

 Laura Alice Sisk was the name she was born with, left Clinton, Maryland to come to New York and landed the role of Ally Rescott Alden Bowman on Loving. She took Ally onto the spin off The City.

The first Karen Wexler played by Cari Shayne was born September 8, 1972. She was involved with Jason Quartermaine, was a stripper at Sonny's club The Paradise Lounge and eventually fell in love and married Jagger. She found out she was Scott Baldwin's daughter with  Ronda Wexler. Sadly, Karen died in 2003 (on the spin off of GH ~  Port Charles), she was hit by a car.

Frisco & Felicia met 31 years ago today

31 years ago today Frisco and Felicia met and became a super couple of the late 80's and 90's... They won my heart and became one of my personal all time favorite super couples! They had such chemistry together.

 Off screen the actors Jack Wagner and Kristina Malandro  married in 1993 and have two boys together. They later divorced but have remained friends. In fact, they still work together, in a Hallmark Original "When Calls The Heart" -

Corbin Benson's birthday is today - he played Carly's dad John Durant.

GH wasn't his first role on a soap. He played (Father) Todd Williams on The Young & The Restless and Ken Graham on Ryan's Hope, as well as many primetime roles. Including Arnie Becker on L.A. Law and Captain Owen Sebring on JAG. Looks like he'll be airing on some more tv shows in 2015 & 2016.
